Subtropical tells the story of an intimate musical voyage into the heart of one woman's search for her roots & herself on the magical island of Madeira, Portugal.

Sarah taught herself how to use ableton live to produce this album. She wrote, recorded, produced, sang all vocals, and premixed the entire project.

Her music is a unique blend of celestial electronic sounds and rhythmic percussion with soulful ephemeral vocals.

Subtropical thematically explores the sensuality of raw human emotions, the healing power of transformation, and the relationship between the divine and physical realms. Sarah transmutes pain into creation while allowing it to illuminate the beauty nestled in the shadows.
